Some Walls is a curatorial and writing art project in a private home in Oakland, California directed by artist, writer, and educator Chris Ashley (website | blog).

Several exhibitions take place annually, are accompanied by an essay, and are documented at somewalls.com. Solo exhibitions feature small groups of recent work by established artists, sometimes made specifically for this context. The project aims to be international in focus.

Some Walls is open by appointment only. For more information or sales inquiries contact Chris Ashley at info@somewalls.com.

Please use the contact form to subscribe to the mailing list.

Some Walls does not encourage unsolicited submissions of artist work; this means that while we are always interested in learning about new artists and art, the project’s program and process is well-defined, and inquiries may not be answered.
